Samsung KNOX vulnerable to malicious attacks: Report

Android is known to be prone to attacks from malicious apps and hackers. However, with Samsung's endorsement of the KNOX security system, one got a sense of security with their premium Samsung flagships. This was supposed to be Samsung's way of targeting BlackBerry which is known for its secure encryption service. But it seems like even KNOX isn't secure enough to restrict malicious apps from making their way to devices. According to Israel's Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, who did a bit of research on this using the Galaxy S4, Samsung's KNOX security system is actually vulnerable to malwares attacks.

To be specific, KNOX is apparently capable of allowing these malicious forces to read through secure data as well as emails. Samsung is aware of these findings, but has mentioned that they don't hold any weight and that a regular corporate user would have plenty of other apps installed to stop this from happening. While Samsung hasn't taken the issue seriously, it has given away the fact that simply having Samsung KNOX on your device won't keep your Samsung smartphone from getting malware attacks.
