The American Marketing Association (AMA) of Houston honored Axiom with a Best in Category Crystal, to (6) Axiom nominated entries — the most Crystals received by any one firm in the show. Competition was fierce as this year's galleried event drew record participation from 76 Houston-area finalist companies and organizations. Axiom Leads American Marketing Association’s 2011 Crystal Awards with 26 Finalists

The American Marketing Association (AMA) of Houston’s prestigious Crystal Awards Show has selected 26 Axiom projects – the most nominations from any one firm in the show – as finalists to display in a juried gallery and compete for best in category. Judges for the AMA Crystal Awards assess entries for acceptance into the show on both the quality of design execution and the validity of an entry’s essay. Each essay must report five essential criteria: situation/challenge, objectives, strategy/tactics, message alignment and results. The results section is given double weight in relation to the final score. The Houston AMA chapter is one of the most competitive chapters in the nation. It has won “Best Chapter of the Year” three times in the past five years and this year achieved an exponential increase in the volume of Crystal entry submissions.
