Samsung Galaxy S6 rumoured release date and tech specs revealed

New Delhi: South Korean electronics giant Samsung is all over in the global market with its varied range of handsets- ranging from high-end smartphones to mid-low level handsets.


Its flagship and latest premium handset Samsung Galaxy S5 was launched a few months back, which has received a lot of praise but has also faced some criticism. Having said that, the much awaited new handset from the Galaxy series- Samsung Galaxy S6- is anticipated for a March 2015 release, but a specific date has not been officially issued by the company. A lot has been said about the features and tech specs of the phone.


Let's take a quick look at the rumoured features.


The Galaxy S6 will enjoy a more premium feel with its aluminium body, unlike the existing plastic bodies offered by Samsung. It will use a superAMOLED screen, as far as the display is concerned, it could be as large as 5.5 inches. If the rumours are to be believed, the company could offer flexible or curved display which Samsung has been developing.


Galaxy S6 may have a 20MP rear camera, 4-7 front camera, 64GB of internal memory, a longer life span of the phone's battery. It will be powered by a 64bit octa-core processor 3500mAh battery, 5G, fingerprint scanner, CMOS sensor and a choice of 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.
