Two out of three Internet users in committed relationships to share their passwords with one or more online accounts, and 27 percent of couples share an e-mail address, according to data from the Pew Research Center.

People who were single when they created their profile typically continue to use them individually. The findings are part of a Pew research study that focuses on technology's impact on romantic relationships. The researchers analyzed telephone interviews of more than 2,000 adults in the U.S. A few other statistics from the report: * Twenty percent of cell phone owners have received a sext - a sexually suggestive message - up from 15 percent in 2012. * Three percent of cell phones have forwarded a sext to someone else. * Nine percent of couples have resolved an argument online or through texting. * One in four married or partnered adults have texted their partner when they were both home.Source:www.omaha.com
