Samsung Galaxy Gear to Come in Two Models

Next week, we are fully expecting Samsung to announce a few other devices alongside the Galaxy S5 at their Unpacked event. That includes the Galaxy Gear 2, Galaxy Tab 4, and even the new Exynos 6 chip. Early this morning, our favorite leaker - @Evleaks - leaked out a picture of the Galaxy Gear 2 and Galaxy Gear 2 Neo. Showing us that the Galaxy Gear 2 is likely to be available in two models.

You'll notice from the image above that the Galaxy Gear 2 doesn't look a whole lot different from the original. But there does seem to be a big physical button on the front, which Samsung loves on their smartphones. There also appears to be a nice black rectangle at the top. Now I'm not sure if that's a earpiece or what, but it is rather interesting. Now the Galaxy Gear 2 Neo looks pretty much the same except less brushed aluminum.

As most of you know, Samsung is known pretty well for offering tons of smartphones. Just look at their Galaxy line, there's literally hundreds of phones available. And it appears Samsung is looking to do the same with the Galaxy Gear, which may not be a bad thing. Samsung also recently launched the Galaxy Note 3 Neo, and the Galaxy S3 Neo as well, both are lower-end versions of their high-end counterparts. the Galaxy Note 3 Neo was closer to the Galaxy Note 2, but with a larger display. Samsung likes to hit every price point, and it looks like they are about to do the same with the Galaxy Gear. Which would put a wearable in more hands, which can't be too bad.

On Monday, we have Samsung's Unpacked 5 taking place from Barcelona, Spain. It will be starting at 2:30pm ET so if you're interested in what Samsung has to offer this year, be sure to tune into Android Headlines for all the latest information.
