Dark Souls 2 set to hit PS4 and Xbox One next year
Dark Souls 2, the epic role-playing extravaganza which was released by Bandai Namco Games earlier this year, is all set to make its way onto the PS4 and the Xbox One on April 7 next year. This version of the title will be subtitled Scholar of the First Sin, and will of course feature never before seen content. And there's no need to mention that a full graphical overhaul will also be granted to the game by its maker From Software.
Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin was first released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 in March this year, and in April, it made its way to PC. While it will be made available for the PS4 and the Xbox One this April, it will also be doled out for the older platforms equipped with all the upgraded contents from the new release. It will come equipped with three DLC missions namely, Crown of the Sunken King, Crown of the Old Iron King and Crown of the Ivory King, apart from an update dubbed version 1.10 which will introduce fresh features including an additional NPC companion, an expanded story, in-game events, improved balance and an online matchmaking functionality.

What's awesome is that all features from the version 1.10 update will be dished out for free to all those who have purchased the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game. For those unaware, Dark Souls 2 is an action role-playing title with hack and slash offerings that has been equipped with a unique multiplayer experience. It features extremely difficult gameplay that's one of its main selling points.
Like we said, Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin will be released for the PS4 and the Xbox One with its additional content on April 7, 2015.
