5 Reasons iPhone 6 Won't Be Popular

The majority of users are waiting for the next smartphone from Apple - iPhone 6 – this year. Unfortunately, the hype around iPhone began to gradually subside with each passing year after the 4th model launched. Therefore, it is possible that the sixth iPhone model of  will not be nearly as popular as it was in the beginning.

Global audience perceived iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 much cooler than its early models New iPhones will not cause that “wow”-effect, which was in the beginning, when Steve Jobs' presentations caused a delight and admiration of every new Apple gadget.

Some leaked photos of iPhone 5S prototype show that it does not differ from its predecessor at all. Therefore, all hopes for something radically new in design and features are laid on iPhone 6. And if Apple is no longer holds its standards, that seem to be a little bit old-fashioned already, it is unlikely that iPhone 6 will be interesting for people next year.

1.      iOS is out of date

What new does the iOS interface offer its users? The iPhone 4th version was the first one where you can set a background, group, icons and see some multitasking at least. The 5-th one gave us Siri, which understands only some languages. And just a lazy guy hasn't heard of iPhone 6 failure with Apple Maps and YouTube.

Roughly speaking, iOS has not changed since 2007: the same icon, the file system is still closed, rigid attachment to iTunes, and other conditions. If Apple demonstrated a real revolution of mobile devices in the beginning, now it's like marking time with attempts to improve the old technology.

2.      Competitors don't sleep

What else can we add here, if in Top Best Smartphones 2012  there were two models of Android-based smartphones: Samsung Galaxy S III and LG Nexus 4? Last year Samsung was good enough with another revolutionary model - Samsung Galaxy Note II, which is a great example of a tablet and smartphone successful symbiosis.

Android and Windows Phone 8 Smartphone display resolutions also increased to 720p in 2012. And earlier this year, many companies have shown a line of smartphones with Full HD screens at CES 2013.

3.      Apple  is not the same without Steve Jobs

Unfortunately, Apple has ceased to be leaders without their ideological mastermind Steve Jobs. iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 models have been released without Steve, and the result was no longer such  impressive as it was before.

And rumors about the budget iPhone model release are just an attempt to attract more users, but not an innovation, as we used to think.

4.      Young people are no longer consider Apple a fashionable brand

Many people have iPhone nowadays. It is no longer a fashionable phone, and a usual "dialer" that doesn't cause as much interest as it was before. So, young people have begun to pay more attention to other smartphones on Windows Phone 8 and Android lately.

5.      Price matters

Do you remember how much did iPhone 5 cost at the very start of its sales? Most of today's consumers have begun to understand that it's not too wise to pay more just for a brand. Moreover, there are many competitive models at the market which offer more features than iPhone has. So, why to pay more then?
