Apple has started rolling out iOS 7.1.1 update for all its iOS 7 devices. This is the second update in little over a month.
Apple says 'the iOS 7.1.1update contains improvements, bug fixes and security updates including: further improvements to Touch ID fingerprint recognition; fixes a bug that could impact keyboard responsiveness and fixes an issue when using Bluetooth keyboards with VoiceOver enabled.'
The new update will be available on iPhone 4 and later, iPod fifth generation onwards, iPad 2 and later. The iOS 7.1.1 is an over-the-air update. It can also be installed via iTune.
Almost a month ago, the last update iOS 7.1 had brought in interface refinements, bug fixes, improvements and some new features. Apple CarPlay had introduced a better way to use iPhone while driving in the previous update. In the same update, the Touch ID fingerprint recognition was improved. Occasional home screen crash bug was also taken care of. It was meant to bring improved responsiveness and performance to iPhone 4.
Like previous one, the new update deals with the same Touch ID fingerprint recognition. Additionally, it comes with new security updates that Apple does not disclose and asks users to visit http://ift.tt/uSAiKb.
