Android 4.4 KitKat Rolling Out To HTC One Google Play Edition

Last week, we saw Android 4.4 KitKat land on the for three US carriers, and the update is now rolling out to the Google Play Edition. It wasn't long ago that we heard the handset would be receiving the latest and greatest version of the OS very soon, so it's nice to see that the promise has been kept.

Waiting for OTA updates can be a pain, and constantly checking the settings to see if you can get the update doesn't really help much. Well, if you don't want to wait and you're willing to update the handset manually, you're in luck. XDA already has the update file and its ready to be downloaded and sideloaded onto your HTC One Google Play Edition handset.

Android 4.4 KitKat has a lot to offer, so if you just can't wait for the OTA to hit your handset, you at least have some options. So what are you waiting for?
