Grand Theft Auto 5 for PC incoming: hinted via job listing

Rockstar's upcoming open world title Grand Theft Auto 5, since its inception, has been without question one of the most massively anticipated games. And while we have been getting a number of information related to game in the recent months, one of the most important information related to game's arrival on PC has managed to evade us. But now it seems like there's a way out for all those who are expecting a PC release for the game.

Recently, a job listing that popped up from Rockstar has shown that the company is setting itself up to hire a talented graphics programmer to help bring GTA 5 over to PC. The post reads: 'Rockstar Leeds are currently looking for a talented graphics programmer to help bring our latest titles to the PC platform. Working together with the other Rockstar studios, you will be responsible for maintaining the studio's uncompromising quality bar, delivering the highest quality PC experience possible.' Said individual will work 'within a team of skilled developers on Next Generation games.'

Now while we are not in a position to speculate anything related to a probable PC port for the game in the near future before receiving any kind of official confirmation from the company itself, it's not really that big a surprise as to what Rockstar means by 'looking for a talented graphics programmer to help bring our latest titles to the PC platform.' The only 'latest title' from the company, as of now, is the upcoming GTA 5, and it seems likely the company is looking to hire somebody just to ensure the port is made perfectly.

The next part where the post states that the person has to work 'within a team of skilled developers on Next Generation games' also backs up the revelation. Moreover, if the job listing is actually meant for GTA 5 's port to PC, then fans might expect some DX11 treat along the way. And the company also mentions that in the post, stating that the individual needs to have '1 year of PC or Xbox360 graphics experience (DX9 and/or DX11).'

As of now, Rockstar has neither denied nor confirmed a PC version of GTA 5, but going by common sense, a PC port will indeed happen as Rockstar will not want to lose out on the business generated from the vast number of PC loyalists all around the planet. Fans should expect to see a release for a PC version of the game alongside its Xbox One and PS4 counterparts.
