Ram Outdoorsman ready for deep
Ram is bringing the great outdoors to the Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas next month.
The Ram 2500 Outdoorsman is a Power Wagon pickup concept that's visited Mopar's quartermaster for some deep-woods gear.
Ram repurposed a set of utility hoops in the bed as a tent frame and covered it in some Mossy Oak Bottomland camouflage fabric. The pattern also featured on the hood, roof, and sides of the Swamp Thing Green-painted pickup.
The truck rides on 17-inch bead lock wheels with mud-terrain tires, and gets a set of fender flares, Bilstein shocks and a leveling kit to keep it looking good. Flip-up two-person seating on the tailgate does that for you when you're just hanging loose.
It's also got all of the awesome bits from the Power Wagon, including its 12,000-pound Warn winch, 410 hp 6.4-liter V8, beefy axles, rock rails and 4x4 drivetrain.
The 2500 Outdoorsman is one of 11 new concepts Mopar is bringing to SEMA, including a Dodge Viper ACR track car and Dart R/T.
