Former Axiomites Return to a New Scene

Two former Axiom employees paid visits to their mentor, Tom Hair, and other familiar faces last week as both toured Fire Station No. 6 for the first time.

Adam Will, currently project manager at Skyline Displays of Houston, worked as an intern for two summers (2006 and 2007) as an intern at Axiom when it was located at 1210 West Clay, near Montrose. Adam has since graduated with honors from SMU in 2010 with a B.A. in Cinema/Television. (Click here for some of his filmmaking highlights.)

On Friday, Adam was able to catch up with Tom Hair and several of his former coworkers over lunch after touring the building. You can check out Adam's fire-pole journey on our Facebook page at facebook.com/AxiomCreativeEnergy.

Another Axiom alum, Wes Jones, stopped by the station on Wednesday with his wife, Claire, and their daughter, Hazel. They got to see Axiom's new digs and had lunch with the Axiom team in the second-floor conference room lounge with a view of the Houston skyline.

Wes spent six years at Axiom as associate creative director before moving to Cleveland in 2007, where he worked as art director at Liggett Stashower from 2007 to 2010. He is now motion/art director at Brokaw in Cleveland.

Wes is a 2000 graduate of Texas State University with a B.F.A. (summa cum laude) in Communication Design.

Keep up the good work, Adam and Wes!
