How About Four Ducati Motorcycles? Scrambler Line Unveiled

Prepare the checkbook. Ducati decided unveiling one motorcycle wasn't enough. The entire Scrambler line of four motorcycles had the curtain pulled today. Ducati has been playing a bit with fans through guerilla marketing, but decided to let the bikes out of the bag and detail the line-up. You have your choice between the Scrambler Urban Enduro, Scrambler Full Throttle, Scrambler Classic and the Scrambler Icon.

The Ducati Scrambler Icon has been at the center of the marketing campaign so far, and it's the other three that has motorcycle fans excited. Personally, if you forced me to choose, I'd go with the Icon. It has that city motorcycle feel.

Details on the model include an air-cooled L-twin engine, interchangeable aluminum panels and Pirelli tires. Color choices are limited to '62 yellow or Ducati red. You know you want the Ducati red. Embrace it.

The Scrambler Classic is for the classic motorcycle fans. Vintage seat, metal mudguards and retro-styled colors. It melds the old-style with advanced technology of new Ducati motorcycles. Who says you can't have both worlds?

Racing enthusiasts will have to look to the Scrambler Full throttle. It is an everyday bike for those that live at the track. You can't exactly take that one to grab a coffee, so the Ducati is hoping the Scrambler Full Throttle fills that void. Lower handle bars, shorter mudguards and 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels flesh out the bike. Oh, and Termignoni mufflers.

The Urban Enduro model has an off road feel to it. Skid plates, spoked wheels and off road handlebars give the bike a feel that you could get off the city streets for a bit. It definitely looks great.

Ducati Scrambler Pricing

The great thing about the new line is the affordability. The Icon starts $8,595, while the other three models are priced at $9,995. For more information on the bikes, be sure to check out Ducati's website. The mini-site autoplays a video detailing the lineup.
