Motorola Announces event for September 4th

This morning, Motorola has sent out invites for an event on September 4th. Where we are expecting the new Moto X, and Moto G as well as the Moto 360. Motorola's event is coming from Chicago, which is where their headquarters is, and so it's not actually part of IFA, surprisingly. We'll be there to cover everything Motorola has to announce at this event. But it should be a rather big one, to say the least. The teaser for Motorola's event shows an X, a G, a smartwatch and an ear with what looks like a Bluetooth Headset - I guess Motorola is going back to 2004 with this one. So we're expecting plenty of new toys this time around.

It's been a while since Motorola had anything new for us to play with. Sure they announced the Moto E earlier this year, but as far as high-end flagship phones, we haven't had anything in a year. The Moto X is rumored to have a larger display, 5.2-inches. It's also rumored to be a 1080p display, along with a Snapdragon 800 processor inside 2GB of RAM, along with a 16GB and 32GB versions with a microSD card slot inside. Now on the Moto G, we aren't expecting much in terms of changes. The Moto G was their top seller last year, and we expect it to continue to be one.

Then there's the Moto 360, which I'm sure everyone is looking forward too. That should be announced at this event as well. Even though we've already seen it a few times before. Including at Google I/O. It's an amazing looking Android Wear smartwatch and one that we can't wait to get our hands on, again. It probably won't be cheap, but do we really care? Probably not.

How many of you are excited to see what Motorola has to announce at their event next month?
