Best Buy Leaks Details on Motorola 360 Smart Watch

'Smart' Technology, as an industry, has been growing steadily over the past several years. Mobile devices using this kind of technology are supposed to help make our lives easier and more integrated as we become more and more reliant on technology in our day to day lives.

In March, Motorola announced the development and eventual release of a new 'Smartwatch' they have been working on. This new device takes advantage of integrated Android-Wear technology and should hit stores on September 4 of this year.

While a great deal of speculation has already been circulating regarding the watches capabilities, more and more information continues to leak to the public as we reach closer to its actual launch. Dubbed the 'Moto 360', Best Buy has leaked-and apparently accidentally-more specific details about the device. They have since removed the entire page from their website.

Before they deleted this page, however, users could have found the new Moto 360 has a 1.5' 320 x 290 display (with 205ppi). Covered in the exceptionally strong Gorilla Glass the device contains not just time-telling components, but also an optical heart rate monitor and pedometer.

The now-defunct Best Buy product page also leaked that the Moto 360 has a processor made by Texas Instruments, a company probably most known for their in-depth, high-functioning calculators.

The body of the watch is made of plastic, which seems a bit pedantic for a high-end watch but the outer rim is made of stainless steel. Still, 2.1 ounce multi-faceted personal accessory can also withstand just over 3 feet of water for as many as 30 minutes.

Priced at $249.99 (at least at the time of the information leak on Best Buy's website), the watch is poised to make a big splash when it does finally become available to consumers in just a few more weeks.
