No one is sure if it will revive the sagging fortune of the Sammy flagship. 5.1-incher Samsung Galaxy S5 with 4G launched @Rs53k

The biggest smartphone maker Samsung is looking forward to revive the Galaxy S5 brand. This is the reason that the company continues to come out with one or the other version of the handset after short gaps.

But amazingly thus far this hasn't helped the company a bit. The smartphone that was introduced in the market earlier this year has failed to catch the attention of smartphone mavens across the world.

There are very disturbing reports about how the handset is doing in the world market. A latest report says that the Sammy's top selling device is actually lagging behind the last generation Apple handset namely iPhone 5. To many Android fans it may look like their worst fears have come true. They are not amazed. Samsung had failed to come out with anything very different from its Galaxy S4 in the new handset. The same was true with the previous version. After launching their best smartphone Galaxy S3, Sammy guys have failed to put a wow factor in their new flagship handsets.

Now the company wants to infuse a new life in Galaxy S5. This is the reason that it has introduced a new 4G LTE version in the market.

The new handset seems to be impressive as it comes with many new features and specifications improvement. It comes with Qualcomm 8974 Pro 2.5 GHz processor and supports eight 4G LTE bands. The Galaxy S5 comes with a marginal bigger display. It comes with 5.1 inch full HD display when compared to 5 inches of the existing version in the market. I am amazed as to why Sammy has still put in just 2GB of RAM in this so expensive handset. It comes with 16GB of internal storage that is expandable by 128GB with the help microSD card. When it comes to camera, the 4G version has 16 mega pixel back camera, besides 2MP front camera for selfie and video chatting. When it comes to operating system you will get Android 4.4.2 Kitkat ut of the box.

Company officials in India are very excited about the launch of the handset. They believe that it is going to improve their market in the chances. Asim Warsi, a top Samsung official in India says, 'We are excited to introduce our first 4G variant of the Galaxy S5 in India with a powerful processor, stunning display and faster connectivity for an unmatched user experience. We expect the 4G version to catch the imagination of technology enthusiasts and professionals, who demand superior smartphones for their heavy multimedia content consumption'. But sky high pricing may be its undoing. It is priced at Rs. 53,500. India is a huge market for Sammy and they want to remain the leader.
