KitKat 4.4.3 update for the Nexus 5 now available for Sprint subscribers

After a lot rumors and leaks about the Android KitKat 4.4.3, the update is now finally rolling out for the Nexus 5 users. According to the GSMArena Sprint, being first in the row, earlier today started rolling out the all new Android KitKat 4.4.3 for its Nexus 5 users.

The final build of the Android KitKat, which was compiled on 24th March, was dubbed as KTU83, but now it is coming with a build number KTU48F where 'F' is probably depicting the final build. Without bringing any changes in the user interface, the new Android KitKat 4.4.3 is fixing most of the issues users had with its predecessor Android KitKat 4.4.2.

The update is fixing following issues,

Frequent mobile data connection drops Camera focus in regular HDR mode problems Power manager display wake lock Multiple Bluetooth issues Other bugs on the camera app Random boot USB debugging security App shortcuts security Wi-Fi malfunctioning auto-connect Missed call LED Data usage graph inaccuracy MMS problems Email and Exchange syncing issues Calendar People, Dialler and Contacts apps DSP errors IPv6 and VPN networks Various other problems reported

Other carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon, are also expected to roll out the update in the coming few days. Although there is no confirmation whether the Google Nexus 4 will also be receiving an Android KiKat 4.4.3 update, the two latest Android smartphones - Samsung Galaxy S5 and HTC One M8, are likely to receive the updates in the coming few days.

We don't have any confirmed dates or even an estimated time slot, Samsung will also be rolling out the new KitKat 4.4.3 update for its Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 devices. But as expected Galaxy S5, which has been packed with Android 4.4.2 running on it, will first receive the update in the coming few days. Possibilities are such that the company may delay the update for Samsung Galaxy S4 for even few months.
