Samsung Galaxy S4 to get Android KitKat 4.4 soon, kernel source released

Google has launched it's flagship Nexus 5 with Android 4.4 KitKat, and all other Android devices are waiting for their companies to start rolling out the new OS soon. The latest news indicate Sammy is preparing Android KitKat 4.4 OS roll out for it's Galaxy S4.

Though the roll out of the new OS will take some time, the indication of a a possibility is here. Samsung has just dropped the kernel source code at its Open Source Release Center for the Google Edition of Galaxy S4 handset, reports Sammobile today. 'As the Google Play edition (GT-I9505G) and the international LTE (GT-I9505) Galaxy S4 share the exact same hardware, kernel developers would be able make good use of the fresh new kernel source code on the international LTE variant, as well' says this news.
